I saw a video the other day of a camera falling out of an airplane and landing in a pig pen. It’s nauseating for a while, the camera spins like mad until the it lands, and then the video is absolutely sublime. A pig approaches this thing that literally fell from the sky, and tries to eat it. I can’t help but feel quite happy at how easy the pig’s decision is. A thing comes to you, you check it out. No torture over what to do. What are the repercussions of eating a strange object? Where did this come from? Why me? None of that for the wee piggie, and good for her. Life comes at her, and she takes it as it comes. Terrific modeling for how my angsty generation could act… Watch and enjoy and don’t you love pigs too?
