I’ve had writer’s block recently, and it’s been pretty lousy. You sit down, you will yourself to write, and like a mother birthing an ugly baby, you push out something so awful you can’t believe that it came from you.

So yes, that’s me for the past several weeks. I’ve been producing the most worthless garbage. Just making words, as my mother would say. And it’s not me being overly critical or prematurely judgmental of the process. No. I’ve correctly identified this crap.

I told my dear friend all about this and he said writer’s block was a myth and that I should shut up and write something already. So there. I wrote something.
